Statement of Faith

I believe in God The Father, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son.  Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He walked  upon this earth as a mortal man doing His Fathers work.  He was persecuted by his own people and suffered at the hands of the religious leaders and government officials of that day. He was sentenced to death and was crucified on a cross for crimes he did not commit.  After He took the sins of the world upon Himself,  His life having been sacrificed, He was laid in  a guarded grave.  At the end of the third day, He rose from that grave and walked among His people appearing to many.  At the appointed time, He ascended into Heaven and took His rightful place at the right hand of The Father.  As a Soldier Of The Cross, I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and that I am to serve Him with all my heart, mind and strength.  I believe that He will return to claim His Bride and that being a Church, free of any spot or blemish.  As a Soldier Of The Cross, I am committed to standing  on a firm foundation which is the Holy Bible, written by men of God having been inspired by His Holy Spirit.  I believe that Jesus Christ died for me and every person that has ever been born and who is yet to be born so that we could have eternal life.  I believe that His shed blood and broken body was an atonement made for me that enabled me to be forgiven of my sins.  I believe that my primary mission as a Soldier Of The Cross is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and The Kingdom of God.   To walk in the Grace and Mercy of God The Father and to apply the power of The Holy Spirit to my walk.
